Peace Officer Memorial Events
The 2015 Texas Peace Officers
Memorial, honoring Texas Peace Officers who died in the line
of duty during the 2013 and 2014 calendar years, is scheduled
to be held at the Texas Capitol on May 3 & 4. This year
we will honor the lives and service of APD Lieutenant Clay
Crabb and Travis County Sheriff’s Department Senior
Deputy Jessica Hollis. APD personnel are encouraged to attend
if able. Sworn attendees should wear the Class A uniform
with hat. The 2015 schedule is as follows:

Candlelight Vigil
To be held at the north side of the Texas Capitol in front of
the Texas Peace Officer Memorial
Monday, May 4, 2015, at 10:30 a.m.
Honor Guard memorial march up Congress Avenue to the Texas Capitol
11:00 a.m.
Peace Officer Memorial to be held on the south steps of the Texas
Capitol
Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
